What an Entertainment Program Is and When You Need One
The entertainment program is everything that runs at a corporate event outside the main team building or the meeting: music with dinner, a show at the opening, a host who holds the evening together, performances between courses or fireworks to close.
It belongs mainly to the evening part of the event, to a formal opening or closing, and anywhere a large group gets together and you want the evening to keep its pace instead of ending at the bar at nine. Programs for Christmas and other company parties have their own dedicated page.
What We Do Ourselves and What We Do Through Partners
Hosts, the quiz, Brain Party, the tech for the program and the production of the evening are our own. Bands, DJs, shows, acrobats, sword fighters and fireworks come from performers and production partners we know from our own events. You get one schedule for the evening and one person who runs it on site.
What Performances We Arrange for Corporate Events
- Music: live bands of various genres, DJs, soloists, jazz and swing ensembles for dinner, a cimbalom folk band for winery events.
- Host: guides the evening, introduces the acts, announces the team-building results, in English and Czech.
- Shows: fire shows, laser and light shows, acrobats, dancers and dance groups, a magician, a flair bartending show.
- History and tradition: sword fighters and historical fencing shows, mainly for evenings at a castle or chateau.
- Fun: stand-up comedians, a hosted quiz, Brain Party as an evening game show, a photo booth.
- Grand finale: fireworks, a slideshow of photos from the day’s program, the final awards ceremony.
- Tech: sound, projection, stage, lighting and a technician on site all evening.
Extra Activities for the Evening
Besides the performances, we can round out the evening with activities people try themselves. These are fun indoor activities that fit into a restaurant or a conference hall.
How We Choose the Performances
The theme and the audience come first. The Don Maccarone mafia party calls for swing and a bartending show. A company anniversary calls for a band the whole room knows, a hosted awards ceremony and a strong finale.
Then the budget: we recommend performers whose price matches what you can spend, and we tell you straight away where it pays to save (the second band) and where it does not (the sound).
Finally the schedule: we time the performances so they do not disrupt the food service or the conversations at the tables, the host keeps the pace and the technician switches between blocks.
Entertainment to Go with a Team Building
The most common combination: a team-building program after lunch (Indiana and the Holy Grail, Sherlock Strikes Back, Treasure Hunt), free time or wellness in the late afternoon, and in the evening a buffet reception with a band, a slideshow of photos from the program and, if you like, Brain Party as a team indoor activity, so the whole evening is not just about drinking.
Frequently Asked Questions
What entertainment suits a corporate event with an evening part?
A host, a band or DJ and one strong show at the opening or after dinner. For themed events we match the performances to the theme. For a gala evening we add fireworks or a slideshow.
Can you book a specific performer?
Yes. We check availability and technical requirements. If the performer is not available or does not fit the event, we suggest an alternative.
Can you provide a host in English?
Yes. Our hosts run the evening in both English and Czech, including mixed audiences.
How many performances fit into one evening?
Usually two or three: the opening, a block after dinner and the finale. More blocks break the evening up, and people want to talk too.
Do you provide the tech, or do we have to arrange it ourselves?
We provide the sound, projection, stage and lighting, plus a technician who stays on site all evening.
Can you provide entertainment for a company ball or an anniversary celebration?
Yes. We arrange the same performances and production for a ball, an anniversary, a gala evening or an open house.
