Z-AGENCY runs Christmas party programs for groups of 5 to 500 people: hands-on workshops, competitive table games, a mobile escape game, and themed parties. All ten programs on this page are indoor, and we bring most of them to your office, a restaurant, or a hotel conference room. Our hosts and instructors run programs in English as well as Czech. We've organized corporate events for more than 16 years, from our base in Brno, all across the Czech Republic.
Our team brings all the equipment. Instructors lead the workshops, hosts run the games. In the competitive programs, the host splits guests into teams, explains the rules, and announces the winners at the end. Depending on the program, it takes anywhere from half an hour to five hours. From the workshops, everyone takes home something they made and wrapped: an Advent wreath, a candle, soap, or chocolate pralines.
How to Choose a Program by Team Size
Small team, 5 to 20 people. The Soap Workshop starts at five people, and so does Escape Box, a mobile escape game played in locked cases full of ciphers and puzzles. The Brain Party quiz show works from six players, Chocolate Day from ten.
Mid-sized team, 20 to 70 people. This is where the choice is widest. Advent Wreath Making, the Candle Making Workshop, Game of Tables, and the Tasting Event (wine, rum, whiskey, or chocolate) all start at twenty people. Game of Tables never reseats anyone: each table is a team exactly as people sat down. Escape Box handles up to 70 people in one room at the same time, so nobody waits for another team to finish.
Large team, 70 to 300 people. For hundreds of guests, themed parties work best. Don Maccarone (50 to 500 people) is a mafia party with a casino and a photo booth, and the evening peaks with a raffle. The Oktoberfest Party (50 to 500 people) brings an accordion player, beer pong, and a beer quiz on tablets. Big rooms also suit Game of Tables for up to 400 competitors, Brain Party for 500, and Chocolate Day or Advent Wreath Making for 300.
Where a Christmas Party with a Program Can Take Place
Workshops and games don't need a special venue. The Soap Workshop, the Candle Making Workshop, and Brain Party only need electricity, and Chocolate Day also needs running water. That's why we run them in offices, restaurant lounges, and hotel conference rooms. Brain Party is often played in a restaurant during the evening buffet.
We're based in Brno and bring the program anywhere in the Czech Republic, to Slovakia, and abroad. We have tested venues in Prague, Brno, and beyond: 85 hotels, chateaus, and resorts across the country. For each one we know the room capacity and the parking. We book rooms with a 15% margin above the registered headcount. If you have your own venue, we come to you.
International Teams
We host and run the programs in English. If part of the team doesn't speak Czech, the instructors run the program in both languages. The opening briefing then takes a little longer, so build that into the evening's schedule. Escape Box is ready in both Czech and English. All ten programs also have an English description on this site that you can send to colleagues from abroad in advance.
How the Evening Usually Goes
- Setup. Our team lays out the equipment and prepares the tables or stations. For Game of Tables, you pick the activities in advance.
- Opening. The host welcomes the guests, splits them into teams, and explains the rules. Chocolate Day opens with a short show on the history of chocolate, and Escape Box with an instructor dressed as a ship's captain.
- Main program. Workshops and Escape Box run 1.5 to 2.5 hours, Brain Party 1 to 2 hours. The Candle Making Workshop can run as an open station that guests visit whenever they like.
- Results. Points are added up and the winning team gets a prize. At Chocolate Day, every participant receives a certificate.
- Free time. Guests take their wrapped creations home and the evening carries on. Expect about 70% of those present to take an active part in the program, while the rest prefer to mingle.
