About Event
The Quiz Stand is one small extra activity. It's for when you don't want a full themed program like Don Maccarone or the Oktoberfest Party, but your party, conference, or partner day still needs a little something more.
It sits in a corner of the hall, in the lobby, or by the bar and takes up the space of a single table. Guests drop by whenever it suits them, and the rest of the program carries on.
How the Program Works
- The stand: our instructor team sets up a table with tablets wherever it fits your event.
- Joining in: guests come alone or in pairs, pick up a tablet, and the instructor starts the quiz for them.
- Question rounds: everyone plays two or three rounds from the categories they choose. The quiz runs on the TerraHunt game platform, the questions come from the proven Brain Party set, and the scores add up as the evening goes on.
- Results: at the end of the event we announce the winner and hand out the prizes.
Guests spend ten to fifteen minutes at the stand and go back to the program. Anyone who wants to come back gets another category.
How is the Quiz Stand different from Brain Party?
Brain Party is a hosted show for the whole room at once: teams at their tables, a host, a projector, five rounds over one to two hours. The Quiz Stand is an ongoing activity for a few guests at a time: no hall, no host, no fixed slot in the schedule. If you want the quiz as the main event of the evening, pick Brain Party. If you want it as a side activity, pick the stand.
What size of event is the Quiz Stand for?
From 20 to 500 guests. Only a few guests play at a time, and over the course of the event everyone who feels like it takes a turn. We add tablets and instructors to match the size of your event.
How long do guests spend at the stand?
Ten to fifteen minutes: two or three rounds of questions from categories they pick themselves. Then they go back to the program, the buffet, or the bar. Anyone who wants more comes back for another category.
What kind of questions can guests expect?
The same categories as Brain Party: sports, science and nature, geography, records, world cinema, Czech cinema, music, the animal kingdom, drinks, cars, food, fashion, and general knowledge. Custom questions about your company are available on request.
What space and equipment do you need from us?
Just a nice table and a chair. We don't need power. The stand works in a conference hall during the breaks, in a hotel lobby, in a restaurant during the evening buffet, or at your office on a partner day. We bring the tablets, the instructor, the questions, and the scoring.
Can the Quiz Stand be combined with another program?
Yes, that's exactly what it's built for. It complements Don Maccarone, the Oktoberfest Party, a tasting, or the Chocolate Stand, and it doesn't need its own slot in the schedule. It runs alongside whatever you already have planned.
Does it work online, or in Czech?
For remote teams we run the Remote Pub Quiz. At the stand, the quiz is ready in English and Czech, and the instructor runs it in whichever language your guests prefer.
